Applied Intuition

Strategically, Applied Intuition is focused on the “data + simulation + verification/validation” challenge in real-world autonomy development: it describes collecting large-scale real-world sensor datasets via a global fleet, combining that with simulation and metrics-based evaluation, and using these elements as a compounding “data and sim flywheel” to improve autonomy over time. In 2026, Applied Intuition expanded from its tools/OS/autonomy stack into an agentic product layer with Dana, which it describes as an “agentic platform” that connects development and operations workflows around safety-critical physical AI systems. Business model: Applied Intuition sells enterprise software and related platforms used by OEMs and autonomy developers to accelerate development cycles, reduce integration friction, and support production deployment and fleet operations. The company’s public materials highlight vehicle-infrastructure adoption, code-first workflows, and observability/validation to make autonomy engineering more repeatable and scalable across domains and regions.
