What d-Matrix does
d-Matrix is a private AI-infrastructure company building inference-focused compute hardware and software for data centers. The company’s core approach is digital in-memory compute (DIMC), which it positions as a way to reduce the “memory wall” and energy costs that constrain generative AI token generation when inference is run continuously at scale. d-Matrix’s product direction is explicitly rack- and system-oriented: beyond compute accelerators, the company has expanded into purpose-built networking (JetStream) and software orchestration for heterogeneous inference pipelines (Aviator), and it has packaged a rack-scale reference architecture (SquadRack) designed to work with other data-center ecosystem components (for example, Ethernet switches and server integrators).
