Product-wise, Harvey describes a set of interconnected capabilities that collectively support “the entire practice,” including purpose-built agents for end-to-end legal work, document storage and bulk analysis (Vault), legal/regulatory knowledge retrieval (Knowledge), shared secure workspaces (Spaces), organization-level analytics and benchmarking (Command Center), and contract-focused intelligence for negotiation and review (Contract Intelligence). A key differentiator in Harvey’s public materials is its emphasis on custom, institution-specific workflows and agent behavior: Harvey’s Agent Builder (previously Workflow Builder) lets legal teams turn proprietary knowledge into reusable, structured systems and deploy them as agents inside Harvey. Strategically, Harvey is scaling both adoption (law firms and in-house legal teams) and its agent reliability and governance stack. In 2026 it announced an acquisition of Guardrails AI, described as an AI security/reliability platform for agents, to strengthen agent reliability and testing for high-stakes legal work. As of mid-September 2026, Harvey has also raised another large round at a $15.5B valuation (co-led by Diffusion and Lightspeed Venture Partners), continuing the company’s rapid funding cadence through multiple late-stage rounds and growth rounds.
