What Pika does
Pika is a Palo Alto-based consumer and developer platform for generating and editing generative video (and expanding into adjacent modalities like audio and speech). Its flagship product is an idea-to-video workflow on Pika’s consumer web app, where users can create clips from text prompts and images and apply effects and editing features.

Beyond the consumer app, Pika provides an API layer and “API Club” membership intended to make access to generative media models more affordable for builders and indie teams; the API positioning is “agent-native,” designed to be used directly from AI agent workflows and developer tooling.
