Following its 2024 merger with SAPEON Korea (SK Telecom’s AI semiconductor spinoff), Rebellions positions the merged company to scale globally under the Rebellions name, with Rebellions’ CEO Park Sung-hyun leading the integrated entity. Rebellions’ product line spans silicon and vertically integrated server/rack solutions intended to support “sovereign AI” deployments (on-prem or controlled environments), with integration claims around open-source inference frameworks (e.g., vLLM and PyTorch). Recent moves include (1) raising a $400M pre-IPO round (March 2026) to support U.S. expansion and production scaling, (2) launching additional system-level offerings (RebelRack™ and RebelPOD™) alongside that capital raise, (3) acquiring inference-optimization company SqueezeBits (June 2026) to bring more of the inference-serving pipeline in-house, and (4) partnering with enterprises and ecosystem players such as SK Telecom, Arm, Red Hat, and Giga Computing to build a wider enterprise deployment path for its Rebel100™ ecosystem.
