The EA Funds Long-Term Future Fund (LTFF) was an expert-managed regranting fund within the Effective Altruism Funds (“EA Funds”) platform. Its mission was to make grants that address global catastrophic risks—especially potential risks from advanced artificial intelligence and pandemics—and to promote longtermist ideas intended to increase the likelihood that future generations will flourish.
The fund is now closed: EA Funds states it has chosen to close down the LTFF and launch the Transformative AI Fund in its stead, and the legacy LTFF page notes that it no longer accepts applications or donations.
