Abundance Institute is a mission-driven U.S. nonprofit that focuses on the cultural and policy barriers facing emerging technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—so these technologies can “grow” and “reach their full potential.” Its stated approach combines (1) policy analysis and advocacy shaped before technologies become mainstream, (2) talent development and “talent assembly,” and (3) building a community of optimists, founders, and innovators.
