The Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA) is an Effective Ventures project that supports and “stewards” the effective altruism community—an evidence- and reason-driven movement aimed at helping others in the most effective ways. CEA’s mission is to build and nurture the global community by running conferences, supporting student and city groups, maintaining online spaces (including the EA Forum and EA Newsletter), communicating effective altruism to wider audiences, and making grants to impactful projects through EA Funds.
